A Modern Take on Classic Design.

Philosophy

Beautifully designed spaces welcome us, surprise us with their thoughtful details, and support a more balanced life. Life is better with great design and a well designed home is a sanctuary that can renew us each day. A well designed space allows everyone to feel welcome and caters to our commonalities. A thoughtful approach leads to an elevated and beautiful design, customized and tailored to you. Good design is also sustainable design and we make a commitment to our clients, our community and our environment to be eco-conscious in our design practices.

Purpose

Laura is a LEED AP having completed rigorous sustainability training and demonstrated extensive knowledge of and dedication to sustainable design practices. This includes everything from sourcing fair trade and renewable resources and donating unwanted furnishings to optimizing energy efficiency and indoor air quality, and recycling cabinetry and building materials. Design decisions and selections encourage the sustainability of our planet's resources so responsible and high quality vendors, manufacturers, products and services are always given priority. These practices lead to designing spaces that are both enjoyable and healthy while being considerate of our environment. During the design process, we are committed to minimizing waste and coordinating the donation of unwanted household goods and furnishings. We are honored to donate our time and resources to local charities such as The Children’s Home and the Catonsville Women's Giving Circle including the design of a new cafe for The Children’s Home, coordinating goods and services to bring the design to life.
