Southern Living Idea House
Inspiration for our Southern Living Idea House was drawn from both the bucolic landscape of the Tennessee countryside and the vibrant city of Nashville. From the color palette and textures to the furnishings, custom cabinetry and original artwork, this house was designed for living, entertaining and relaxing. With sustainability and wellness in mind, we shared ideas for creating a home that truly reflects individual style with inspired design solutions, unique vintage finds, custom designed furniture and hand-painted decorative wall treatments. Every room was designed to have moments of discovery for readers and visitors to consider for their own home. The design of the Southern Living Idea House celebrated its natural setting with biophilic inspiration, the sights and sounds of Music City with a lively music and billiards lounge and a myriad of artistic references to reflect the local cultural landscape.
