The Vision Behind The Tea Room

A space designed for slow mornings, thoughtful details, and everyday rituals.

I have always loved tea and the kind of small cafés that make an ordinary afternoon feel special. The spaces I return to most are warm, intimate, and inviting, the kind of places that encourage you to slow down, settle in, and stay a little longer. Even on a cloudy, overcast day, they hold a sense of comfort and quiet beauty.

That feeling sparked our idea to create The Tea Room.

I wanted to create a space that could inspire both our team and our clients, somewhere design could be experienced in a way that felt personal and real. A place that reflected how we think about interiors and how we believe people want to live, with beauty, comfort, and intention woven into everyday life.

Bringing the studio and The Tea Room together felt natural. It became an opportunity to share our process and aesthetic by creating an environment that fully embodies it.

Light, warmth, and quiet corners designed to invite you to stay a little longer.

Every detail was approached with that in mind. Vintage and antique furniture sit alongside custom, locally made cabinetry. Checkerboard and herringbone floors bring movement and a sense of history. High ceilings keep the space light and open, while layered textures, collected objects, and locally crafted tables and countertops create warmth and character. Each element was chosen to make the space feel welcoming, thoughtful, and lived in.

The Tea Room is also a reflection of how I think about hospitality. Tea has always felt like an invitation to pause. It creates space for conversation, for connection, and for the kind of moments that stay with you long after they pass. There is something beautiful about the ritual of it, the way it turns something simple into something intentional.

Soon we’ll begin welcoming guests for our Signature Tea Service, a curated experience designed to be enjoyed slowly. Each seating begins with a guided tasting of seasonal loose leaf teas, followed by a progression of thoughtfully paired small bites. The experience is meant to feel personal, unhurried, and memorable, giving guests a chance to step away from the pace of the day and settle into something meaningful.

At its heart, The Tea Room is a space to create and a space to connect. It brings together thoughtful design and intentional hospitality in a way that feels beautiful, welcoming, and true to how we want to live.

We’re looking forward to opening our doors and sharing it with you.
