You're On Our List!

You're on our list! We're so grateful to our design clients, DOMAIN customers (it's our 6-month anniversary!), family and friends for a fabulous year so we want to toast you at our Happy Holiday Hour tomorrow night, Friday, December 14th from 5pm-8pm. We hope to see you! We will have my favorite signature cocktail, Pomegranate Kentucky Mules, with delicious light bites.

Then we hope you'll join us for our Holiday Brunch on Saturday from 11am-2pm where we'll have delectable mini quiches from local Catonsville bakery, Table for Twelve, plus our sparkling mimosas to toast the occasion. Click here to rsvp for our Happy Holiday Hour:

Now check out our top tips for gifting (and a recently completed project!)

Top Tips for Gifting:

  1. Get personal: What comes to mind when you think of this person? Do they love gardening? A beautiful vase to enjoy some cuttings from their garden is a lovely idea. Maybe they love to entertain? How about handcarved wooden bottle stoppers or a set of hand-blocked cotton napkins? We're always here to help so if there's a challenging person on your list this year stop by DOMAIN and we promise to help you find something special (hopefully from the shop, but we have lots of ideas!)

  2. Gift them a basket: Not sure what the one perfect idea is? Curate a personalized gift basket of smaller items that are easier to find... For a coffee lover, how about a few bags of locally-made roasted coffee, a French press, two handmade mugs and a jar of pretty sugar cubes like these:

  3. Keep it simple: Sometimes we overthink the holidays and just can't seem to find what we think would be the ideal gift for someone. I think that as long as the gift has one element of thought and care then it will be well-received and appreciated. That's why the gift of time together (or alone!), tickets to a special event, or even a well-thought out gift card can be a great idea. Instead of a random big box store, find a local shop they might love (I can think of one to suggest if you need ideas...) and let them know you took the time to make it personal.

Speaking of which...
