Where Do You Find Great Design?
Finding great design and inspiration is one of my favorite parts about being an interior designer and is one of the reasons we opened Domain, right in the heart of Catonsville.
We were excited to be featured by Sotheby's Marketplace, Viyet as a connoisseur of great design and you can check out our interview and favorite finds here.
We also love finding new pieces to show you at Domain so last week I went to NY Now, a trade show of international artisans and makers from our whole country and beyond and I found some amazing new pieces I know you'll love! Take a look at some new pieces for the shop!
We're also really excited to introduce our newest artist at Domain, Theodora Miller from Richmond, Virginia. In Theodora's own words, "My creative process is exploratory in nature, influenced by mood, surroundings, and life events." From her latest works, we now have Theodora's "Love Notes" collection, "organic mixed media collages set in striking acrylic block frames that make a colorful statement in any décor." We love their vibrant color and they're so easy to incorporate in your home, either on a bookshelf or centerstage in a tablescape. I hope you'll stop by to see them!
Speaking of great style and design, are you going to Baltimore's Dîner en Blanc tomorrow evening?
"At the last minute, the secret location is revealed to thousands of friends who have all been patiently waiting to learn where Dîner en Blanc will take place. We're honored to be presenting the prize for best tablescape tomorrow which includes a gorgeous gift basket from Domain and a two-hour interior design consultation with... me!
For our own table at Dîner en Blanc, I'm thinking of lovely white candles and a sculptural floral arrangement, definitely colorful... but of course it has to be in a white vase! If you'll be there, we look forward to seeing you!
