My Favorite Finds from Paris

There are a few places that I never get tired of visiting and Paris is one of my favorites. From baguettes and wine to the romantic architecture and amazing art, this city always has something new to discover. On this trip we decided to skip the tourist destinations and just take these few days to relax and wander this gorgeous city. And by "relax" of course I mean spend hours perusing the flea markets and tiny streets of design shops, taking a day trip to Brussels where there are more chocolate shops than people and finding design inspiration around every corner. Whether it was the fabulous architecture, a mix of historical buildings and modern design, or simply the way a small cafe was so thoughtfully considered, this is the city of great design.

If you follow us on Instagram and Facebook I shared some of my favorite vintage chairs from the Paris flea market with you but of course I have more finds! This amazing apothecary felt like we had stepped into the early 1900's, look at all of the perfume testers!

Even the lighting was fabulous!

Now that we're back, I'm excited to share that we were recently honored by Traditional Home Magazine by being named a New Trad for 2019! This is really an amazing honor for us and we're very grateful to be among the other great designers that they recognized this year. We hope you'll check out the article in this month's issue of Traditional Home or you can read it on our press page!

We have some wonderful upcoming workshops at our shop, Domain, and this season we're happy to announce our own "Hosting the Holidays" workshop on Saturday, November 9th at 2:00pm, where we'll share our tips for great table-settings. This workshop will be part of a new Designer Workshop Series where we will bring you design-focused workshops and share our tips for everything from curating your own art gallery wall to selecting the right paint colors. Stay tuned here on the blog and our newsletter or click on DOMAIN to see the upcoming calendar of events!
