So Many Reasons To Celebrate!
If you follow us on Instagram (and I hope that you do!) then you might have already heard our big news: we were named a Next Wave Designer in House Beautiful! I've read House Beautiful for as long as I've loved design (forever) so being on the pages of this gorgeous magazine is a dream come true and I'm so honored. I hope you'll check out the December Holiday issue to see our feature and read about Domain too.
Then come and celebrate with us on Saturday, November 30th for our Holiday Open House from 11am-5pm and our Holiday Party Sip and Shop from 5pm-7pm with live jazz, great food and delicious drinks! We'll have lots of great Small Business Saturday deals and free giveaways for you plus a raffle to benefit The Children's Home and the new Treehouse Cafe that we designed for them.
In other great news, we're also very excited to announce that we've take Domain online! Just in time for the holidays, now you can shop from home... or work... or tell your friends and family where to shop for you! Take a look at the new website and let us know what you think. We're bringing in lots of new items including more sustainable products like bamboo straws and washable linens to replace paper towels, our own custom pillows and, of course, beautiful handmade jewelry from your favorite local makers. This year at Domain, as we work towards producing less waste, we have handmade reusable gift card holders and handmade reusable jewelry gift bags too! And don't worry, if you choose to shop online, we reuse almost all of the packaging we receive, as long as it's in good condition. If we need anything additional then we source biodegradable and recycled packaging. But based on the stack of used packaging we have in the closet right now, I think we'll be good for a while... :)

Materials are included with a gold metal wreath base, bundles of fragrant greenery and foliages and velvet ribbon. These deigns are easy to make and are great as gifts or to hang in the house! Come learn with us and share some holiday cheer!

MARBLED PAPER STATIONARY WORKSHOP WITH ODETTE PRESS

Join Kelly Laughlin of Odette Press as you explore the creative and meditative process of suminagashi-style paper marbling. Use colorful inks to paint on the surface to create colorful marbled paper cards and envelopes.

INTRODUCTION TO MODERN CALLIGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Join us for a 2.5-hour calligraphy workshop to learn the tools and strokes for hand lettering in the beginner modern calligraphy workshop with CopperStone Co.'s founder, Megan Landy. This intimate workshop is perfect for beginners who are interested in a new hobby or skill and are looking for hands-on tips to improve their lettering. The workshop will focus on the fundamentals of brush pen calligraphy, starting with the introductory strokes and techniques, and moving through formations of each uppercase and lowercase letter of the alphabet. Megan will also touch on faux calligraphy, a technique that is used to create beautiful script using any writing utensil, on any surface. During the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to ask any questions regarding tools, materials, and calligraphy projects.
