Summer Inspiration (and Happy 5 Years to Domain!)
Happy June! Are you beginning to dream about summer trips and outdoor festivities? We’re looking forward to new summer recipes, relaxing weekends and spending time with friends and family this summer season.

May was a whirlwind of activity for our studio and among other events, Laura was honored to speak at the Haven Workshop in Newport Beach, CA for a wonderful designer conference. It was such an amazing experience to be able to share design insight, inspiration, and meet so many talented designers! You might know from our updates on Instagram, but last week was our big install at the Southern Living Idea House in Nashville so we rounded out the month with a big finale that felt exciting and fulfilling all at once. We’re looking forward to sharing more when the house opens in August! For now we hope you’ll check out our curated collection of Southern Living x Domain décor and accessories!
As the warmer weather settles in, we also wanted to share with you some of our summer-inspired Domain pieces, including our favorite linens, woven goods and skincare necessities for warmer weather. Keep reading to see how we would use some of these items in our own summer spread…
We recently styled these wall baskets in our Southern Living Idea House because they are each beautifully woven and one-of-a-kind. We love the idea of displaying them as artwork, but we also love using them as a backdrop to display linens, table napkins, or menus at a special meal gathering, adding some texture and dimension!
