Summer Inspired Spreads
Happy Friday (and happy almost July!) We feel like we say this pretty much every month, but we cannot believe how quickly time is flying by, especially this summer! With the 4th of July right around the corner, we are dreaming up all the summer spreads and outdoor dining ideas. There is something truly special about sharing a meal with friends and family, especially amid the busy-ness of the summer season.
Speaking of busy schedules, we are SO excited to share more about the 2023 Nashville Southern Living Idea House (so soon!) With our minds on summer, we have been curating all the light, breezy, and coastal inspired touches for our gatherings. We are so excited to share this collection with you! Our Summer Tablescape Collection from Domain is filled with beautiful woven goods, linens, textiles, ceramics, and more…we couldn’t help but call out a few of our favorites and share a bit more about why we love them (and how you can use them at your next special event or gathering!)
Starting out with a base layer for the table, we always love incorporating linen whenever possible, but especially for the warmer months. Its lightweight and airy feel creates the perfect backdrop for your summer spread. We currently have two color-ways available in our linen tablecloth: blush (pictured here!) and rose. Versatile in use, it could also be styled as a lightweight throw!
We love incorporating woven textures into our design spaces, so it comes as no surprise that we love this for our summer spreads, too! Our natural raffia tray is perfect for holding napkins, cutlery, bread, fruit, or as a base for a vase and flowers (like we styled at our Bank Street Project!) We included a range of woven goods, like this tray, in our collection.
We love the Kanji series of bowls that we pulled for this summer tablescape collection – they all fit together and complement one another so perfectly. This particular style is perfect for serving dishes like rice and lentils.
We love incorporating wooden textures into our summer spread, too. These wild olive wood salad servers are perfect for serving up all your dishes. Since these are a handcrafted item, they vary ever so slightly between each pair, but to us that just makes them even more unique!
